Privacy Starts at Capture
When a vehicle occupies a monitored parking space, WiseSight captures still images and processes only the information needed for the defined parking purpose:

Privacy by design: Blurring and pixelation of people and other unnecessary areas are performed locally at the source by the on-site hardware, before imagery leaves the site. Only the license plate area remains visible for parking operations.
VEHICLE DATA, NOT PEOPLE
WiseSight does not associate license plate information with an individual's identity.
NO VEHICLE PROFILING
The system does not identify vehicle make, model, or other vehicle characteristics.
MINIMIZED AT THE SOURCE
Privacy protections are applied before imagery leaves the site.
Secure Transmission & Controlled Access
Privacy protections continue after information leaves the parking location. Data is protected during transmission and access is limited to authorized users.
05 TRANSMISSION
What is being transmitted? Image and license plate data are encrypted during transmission. Privacy protections are applied before images are available to authorized users.
06 ACCESS
Who can view the information? Access is controlled through customer-managed, role-based permissions. User activity is logged to support accountability and oversight.
SOLATED SITE NETWORKS
Each site operates on its own isolated local network, helping contain a potential security incident to that individual location rather than exposing other WiseSight sites or networks.
INDEPENDENT SECURITY TESTING
WiseSight undergoes independent third-party penetration testing annually, with no critical vulnerabilities identified in its most recent assessment.
Defined Retention.
Defined Purpose.
Default Retention: 24 HOURS after the parking session.
By default, session data is retained for 24 hours after the parking session ends, unless a different retention period is defined by the city or parking operator.
07 STORAGE & RETENTION
Information is retained only for the applicable customer-defined period.
08 DATA ANALYTICS
Analytics include occupancy, parking duration, compliance, space utilization, payment status and related parking metrics.
ENFORCEMENT RECORDS
Information requiring longer retention for enforcement purposes is transferred to the authorized enforcement system and removed from WiseSight.
NO CROSS-LOCATION TRACKING
WiseSight cannot track a vehicle's movement between different locations.

Applicable parking violation information may be transmitted one-way to an authorized parking enforcement platform already used by the customer. WiseSight does not retrieve owner or address information and is not integrated with law-enforcement platforms.
